PokerBros Guide: How the App and Its Unions Work

PokerBros follows the same club model as PPPoker: the company provides the app and independent clubs and unions run the games. It has been especially popular in North America, where the app is often the only way to play private online games.

Structure

Clubs have owners and agents; clubs group into unions to share tables. You join a club with an ID and a referral, deposit through the agent, and receive chips. Unions set most of the rules that matter day to day, including rake caps, seating rules and software policies.

Games

NLHE and PLO cash from micro stakes up, plus short-deck, tournaments and various jackpot tables. Some unions are known for soft recreational games, others for tough regular-heavy tables; the app itself is neutral.

Money

As on every club app, money moves outside the app through agents. The recurring risks are slow payouts, disappearing agents and disputes over collusion refunds. Established unions with a public presence are safer than anonymous ones.

Rules on software

PokerBros prohibits bots and real-time assistance in its terms and has publicised its game-integrity efforts. Unions run their own reviews, share ban lists and can ban a player from every club in the union. Expect stricter enforcement than the app’s marketing suggests.
